Interested in having a librarian be a part of your course to assist students with research and teach information literacy skills? Embedded librarians do just that - they are "embedded" in your course, whether in person or in D2L, to provide point-of-need access and instruction to students. Librarians can be embedded to the level you feel will be most helpful for students. Some ways we can provide service as embedded librarians include:
A librarian can work with you to determine what your needs may be and how we can help support students for success in your course.
On the D2L landing page, select Add Faculty/Staff from the Submit Faculty D2L Requests box on the right hand side of the screen. Complete the form, listing the individual librarian you would like to add and select their role as "Librarian."
If you are interested in having an embedded librarian in your course(s) for the first time, fill out this Embedded Librarian Request Form and a librarian will contact you.
