PennWest Faculty Resource Guide

Information & Updates for Faculty using PennWest Libraries Resources

Personal Account Folders

EBSCO, ProQuest, Artstor, and some other library platforms allow you to save articles, books, images, or other material to a personal folder. To access these items going forward, you will need to transfer them to PennWest versions of these databases. Here are some instructions for doing so.

EBSCO Databases and OneSearch

Clarion and Edinboro Users: follow these instructions.

California Users: You will need to manually add your items to your PennWest folder on EBSCO.

  • Go to Cal U’s OneSearch (available through September 30, 2022)
  • Make a copy of the articles you wish to add to your new EBSCO folder. Note: sign-in conflicts prevent you from signing in to both accounts simultaneously. Print them or copy paste the citations into a document.
  • Close done Cal U’s OneSearch and launch PennWest’s OneSearch (this may require a browser restart).
  • Locate the items you wish to save and add them to your folder.

ProQuest eBooks

Clarion: User’s bookshelves will automatically transfer to the PennWest ProQuest account.

Edinboro and California: Email libresources@pennwest.edu with your email username (before @ in your email) and your previous university (California or Edinboro).
