- America: History & Life This link opens in a new window The definitive database of literature covering the history and culture of the United States and Canada, from prehistory to the present. This database contains selective indexing for 1,700 journals from 1955 to present.
- Historical Abstracts This link opens in a new window An exceptional resource that covers the history of the world (excluding the United States and Canada) from 1450 to the present, including world history, military history, women's history, history of education, and much more. This authoritative database provides indexing of historical articles from over 2000 journals.
- OneSearch This link opens in a new window OneSearch combines most of the library's resources into a single database. Rather than search databases separately, you can do just "one search." OneSearch includes articles, ebooks and books, and more.
- JSTOR Collections This link opens in a new window A full-text archive of over 1,700 of the best scholarly journals in social sciences, humanities, and life sciences disciplines. Includes access to ARTStor and JSTOR Primary Sources
- Political Science Complete This link opens in a new window Provides full text for more than 520 journals, and indexing and abstracts for over 2,900 titles, (including top-ranked scholarly journals), many of which are unique to the product.
- American Antiquarian Society (AAS) Historical Periodicals Collection This link opens in a new window This resource from the American Antiquarian Society (AAS) provides full-image views of historic periodicals from 1684 to 1912 in five collections, covering the Colonial Era through the Civil War and Reconstruction. Note that coverage past the 1880s is rather limited.

- Academic Video Online (AVON) This link opens in a new window The database includes scholarly video material of virtually every video type: documentaries, interviews, performances, news programs and newsreels, field recordings, commercials, demonstrations, original and raw footage including tens of thousands of exclusive tiles. There are thousands of award-winning films, along with the most frequently used films for classroom instruction, plus newly released films and previously unavailable archival material.

- Google Book Search To find historical primary sources, limit search to "Full View Only" and use "Publication Date" limit. Many, but not all, sources published prior to 1923 are available in full-text.
