National Library of Medicine (NLM) Resources
PubMedPubMed is the premier biomedical literature database and contains over 30 millions citations from MEDLINE, life science journals, and online books. Citations may include links to full-text content from PubMed Central and publisher web sites.
MedlinePlusMedlinePlus is an online health information resource for patients and their families and friends. It offers information on health conditions, medical tests, medications, dietary supplements, and healthy recipes from authoritative, reliable health websites.
ClinicalTrials.govClinicalTrials.gov is a Web-based resource that provides patients, their family members, health care professionals, researchers, and the public with easy access to information on publicly and privately supported clinical studies on a wide range of diseases and conditions from around the world.
Open-iOpen-i enables search and retrieval of abstracts and images (including charts, graphs, clinical images, etc.) from the open source literature, and biomedical image collections. Open-i provides access to over 3.7 million images from about 1.2 million PubMed Central® articles; 7,470 chest x-rays with 3,955 radiology reports; 67,517 images from NLM History of Medicine collection; and 2,064 orthopedic illustrations.
Nursing, History, and Health CarePresents historical information on the nursing profession and the provision of nursing care. Topics include: health care and nursing concerns, the role of nurses, nurse shortages, workplace problems, and public health issues.
